Service Description

This class is open to anyone who wants to discover ceramics through hand-building, a free and intuitive technique that allows you to shape clay entirely by hand. In small groups of up to 6 people, you’ll be supported throughout the session by Lili, who will guide you step by step in creating your own functional or decorative pieces. Once your creation is finished, it is glazed and then fired to reveal its colors and make it suitable for everyday use. Your piece will be ready in 1 to 2 months. If you are visiting for a short time, a flat-rate shipping option is available for sending your pieces. Creations are stored for 3 months after firing. Clay is a living material: bubbles, glaze irregularities, or firing marks are an integral part of the charm of ceramics. Despite the care taken, some pieces may crack or break during firing. These unforeseen circumstances do not qualify for a refund. Practical Information • Cancellation or rescheduling is possible up to 24 hours before the class. After this time, no changes or refunds will be granted. • The price includes materials, the object, glazing, and firing. • No bags or bubble wrap are provided when you come to pick up your pieces: please remember to bring your own.
